Maruti Suzuki Ritz

Ritz is a hatchback car from Maruti Suzuki and it has been doing fairly well in the Indian market. Thick moulding on its body helps prevent scratches. The interior uses a bright dual colour tone to light up the insides. High end fabric has been used on the seats which are well cushioned.

The hatchback comes with two different engines - petrol and diesel. The 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine has a displacement capacity of 1197 cc and can thump out 85 bhp and maximum torque of 114 Nm. The 1.3 diesel engine gives out a capacity of 1248 cc along with a peak power output of 73 bhp and 190 Nm. Both the engines come with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the petrol engine also has a 5 speed automatic transmission gearbox.

The standard audio system comes with a CD drive, USB port and 4 speakers. It also has a seat belt reminder, foldable trays, cup holders, air conditioning unit and a glove box. Ventilate disc brakes are in front and the rear has drum brakes. The steering wheel comes with power steering and tilt adjustment. Dual airbags are there in the front.

Hyundai i10 and Ford Figo are similar cars. However, Maruti Suzuki Ritz beats them by offering a more powerful engine and better mileage.
